This year Athene Communications is celebrating its 15th anniversary! As part of the festivities, the annual Peterborough Regional PR & Media Awards will be returning!
Since it was established in the living room of our Managing Director, Richard Astle, in 2003, Athene Communications has grown to become the Outstanding PR Agency in the Anglian region – and has always tried to be a valuable part of the Peterborough region’s business, communications and community landscape. Our awards have been a key part in recognising the success and talent of the local business community.
The awards will once again celebrate those working in PR, digital media, marketing and journalism across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire.

This year’s award categories are:
- Communications Campaign of the Year: Open to any PR, marketing, digital or stakeholder engagement campaign delivered during the course of 2018
- Internal Communications Campaign of the Year: Open to any communications team – in-house or agency – that has seen notable results during/as a result of an internal communications campaign in 2018
- NEW: Community Contribution of the year: Open to any communications team – in-house or agency-side – which has made a positive impact on the local community in 2018, for example through CSR initiatives, charitable contributions or community engagement campaigns
- Communications Team of the Year: Open to any communications team – whether in-house or agency-side – which has demonstrated notable success during the course of 2018
- Communicator of the Year: This award recognises the achievements of an individual in the communications industry – whether PR professional, Marketer or Journalist – who is making a valuable contribution to the organisation they work for
Those shortlisted will be invited to join our 15th year celebrations from 5:30pm – 7:30pm on Thursday 6th December 2018 in the Knights Chamber in Peterborough Cathedral’s Precincts for food, drinks and fun!
