- BGL Group - Peterborough based BGL Group (previously Budget Insurance) is one of Britain's leading independent insurance brokers, with over two million customers, employing over 2,000 people. Athene provided a range of PR, CSR and internal communication services between 2006 and 2009.
- British Energy - Athene is working with British Energy to deliver a programme of public consultation for the communities around the sites it is considering for new nuclear power stations. This work involves planning, publicising and delivering a series of exhibitions and public meetings. Community engagement programmes were delivered at Sizewell, Hinkley Point and Bradwell in 2008, with a further programme to be delivered at Dungeness in January 2009.
- East of England NHS Colloborative Procurement Hub - we are working with the hub to develop a full communication strategy, having previously assisted with website creation and development, newsletter copy-writing, design and print services. To see examples of our work, click the links below:
- Frenbury Developments - Frenbury is a commercial property developer that has carried out numerous schemes throughtout the eastern region. Athene has been working with Frenbury since 2006, providing website development and management and media and community relations for various commercial property developments.
- Gateway Peterborough - we are providing media and community relations for this major warehouse development near Peterborough, due to create 2000 new jobs for the city.
- Greater Peterborough Partnership - secretariat services, website design and management, media and community relations, policy development, including Peterborough's local area agreement and community strategy, voluntary sector engagement.
- Intelligent Processing Solutions Ltd (iPSL) - iPSL is a joint venture between Unisys and four major clearing banks. It processes over 70% of the country's cheques and employes over 2,000 people at six sites around the country. Athene conducted an audit of its employee communications in late 2007 and then worked with the HR Director to put in place new ways of ensuring clear and consistent messages are communicated to staff across the sites. Athene also developed the new iPSL website.
- Pearl Group Ltd – Pearl Group Ltd is one of the largest owners of closed funds in the UK financial services sector. Athene has provided a range of employee and customer communication services for this leading financial services company.
- Peterborough City Council - Athene has worked with Peterborough City Council on several occasions since 2003, including the provision of PR services and the organisation and publicity for the BBC Springwatch event for over 10,000 people in Central Park, Peterborough on 10 June 2007.
- Peterborough Enterprise Programme - production of marketing strategy, media relations, event organisation, design and delivery of Peterborough's annual best new business idea of the year competition.
- Peterborough Regional Economic Partnership - interim management and public policy development, media relations and stakeholder engagement for this private sector led body, responsible for co-ordinating and driving forward the economic development of Peterborough.
- Peterborough and Stamford Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust - administration of a recent survey on the future of Stamford Hospital. Previously Athene assisted with the original consultation on the establishment of the Foundation Trust.
- Postgraduate Medical Education and Training Board - Athene has been working with PMETB since the regulatory body, responsible for the development and quality assurance of postgraduate medical training, was set up in 2004. Our services have included the development of communication strategies, full press office and media relations, website design, crisis management and design and print. - South East Coast NHS Collaborative Procurement Hub - Athene has been hired to provide a bespoke newsletter for its 27 NHS member trusts and to develop a specially commissioned website which went live on 16 January 2008.
- Unisys Insurance Services Ltd - we are working with this leading provider of financial services administration services to provide a full range of communication services, including strategic development, establishing new channels for employee communication, a range of project communication services and all staff roadshows. Our work has included developing communication plans for projects such as Treating Customers Fairly and fornew operational developments.
- Wolverine World Wide - Wolverine World Wide is one of the world’s largest footwear companies, embracing such well known brands as Hush Puppies, Merrell and Caterpillar, with European operations in Paris, Dusseldorf, London, Bristol and Leicester. Athene has been hired to help develop a stronger corporate approach to employee communications across Europe, including through the development of a new all staff magazine.
