As an Account Manager for Athene’s community engagement team, Emma is responsible for leading public consultations and stakeholder engagement for our wide range of clients across the UK. She started working life in the building trade, supplying builders with materials with Travis Perkins (interesting fact – she can drive a folk lift!) – before spending eight years in the charity sector, in various roles for the likes of Sue Ryder, Kidney Research UK and RNIB. Most recently, she spent three years as communications officer at Cambridgeshire Constabulary, providing strategic direction and tactical delivery on internal and external communications.
Among other achievements Emma has a CIM Diploma in Marketing and won the PR Moments Public Sector Campaign of the Year in 2017. In her spare time she enjoys music (Queen in particular!) and co-runs a local voluntary organisation called the HelCats; which organises events and fundraisers and supports local organisations in the village she lives.
