Making Schools Work for their Communities Conference
Thank you to all those who came along to The Cam Academy Trust and Cambridge Meridian Academies Trust’s conference on ‘making schools work for their communities – the role of multi-academy trusts, government agencies, and local businesses’
It was a fantastic day and a celebration of all that our two trusts have achieved over the last five years. We are indebted to our brilliant speakers and panellists who gave great insight into the world of schools working within their communities.
We would particularly like to thank our keynote speaker, Lord Nash, who spoke at great length about how multi-academy trusts can be supported to work for their communities and the increasing role of businesses in supporting schools.
Throughout the day we were delighted to hear so many differing viewpoints and suggestions for how schools can work with their communities and we were particularly thankful to hear feedback and suggestions for how we can work better with businesses.
